Seller's Comments and Description: 1969 NORTON COMMANDO "S Type" (S Model) 750cc Matching Numbers Boyer Electronic Ignition. Overhauled engine: Superblend main bearings New crankcase seals New big-end shells (rod bearings) New rings (.020" over) Black Diamond Valves Kibblewhite manganese bronze valve guides Crankcase breather upgrade was performed Gearbox = all bushings, bearings, and seals. Kickstart pawl replaced. Return springs replaced. The clutch and primary side has been completely serviced. Primary chain is good. Clutch plates are good. Sprockets and chain are good. Mechanically, the bike needs nothing, has about 20 'break-in' miles. Valves have been re-set, but should be adjusted again after another 300-500 'break-in' miles. The UK-made exhaust system is NEW. The OEM fiberglass gas tank is in good condition, no leaks. The original kickstand and centerstand are in great condition. The original seat is in good condition. The headlight works on both high and low. The taillight and brake light works. Chrome rims are in pretty good condition, and the wheels run true. The original horn bracket is there, but the horn is not. The speedometer is correct for the model and is working. The tachometer is correct for the model and is working. I cleaned out the fuel tank, Amal carbs,and the dry sump oil tank and lines. There is a spare headlight bulb and plugs under the seat. The bike will need new tires( I think they are original),it needs a battery and general electrical going over to check the lighting
